Year 1/2 Teacher (0.6) and Curriculum Coordinator (0.2) – Ongoing Commencing 1 St January 2023

St Bernard’s Primary School is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic teacher, with a proven play-based, inquiry learning focus, to join our dedicated teaching staff in 2023. This is an opportunity to join a school where the focus is on working with every student to reach their highest potential in all aspects of their development. St. Bernard’s has 98 students from 3-year-old Kindy through to Year 6. Classes are small and composite: Kindy/Pre-Primary, Year 1/2, Year 3/4 and Year 5/6. This is an ongoing position. The teacher and Curriculum Coordinator roles can be separated, but we are hoping to find one teacher to fill both roles.

Early Childhood Educator – Fulltime Temporary Commencing 1 St January 2023 to 31 December 2023

St Bernard’s Primary School is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Early Childhood educator, with a proven play-based, inquiry learning focus, to join our dedicated teaching staff in 2023. This is an opportunity to join a school where the focus is on working with every student to reach their highest potential in all aspects of their development. St. Bernard’s has 98 students from 3-year-old Kindy through to Year 6. Classes are small and composite: Kindy/Pre-Primary, Year 1/2, Year 3/4 and Year 5/6. Our Kindergarten program is offered three days per week. The position is full-time temporary for a period of 12 months, with a possibility of contract extension into 2024.

Administration Officer (3 Days PW)

We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Administration Officer to join our professional team. This position is the first point of contact for parents and visitors to the school and requires a friendly, welcoming and positive person in the role. Duties include a range of administrative tasks including telephone reception and directing queries appropriately; student attendance and enrolment; secretarial duties including incoming and outgoing correspondence, promotions and filing; and other tasks important to the smooth operation of St Bernard’s School
